Production Process

After making several wedding film productions, we have devised a 5-step plan that is designed to simplify the production process to our customers.

1.Initial meeting

After we receive a phone call or email from you, we will arrange a time and place to meet you. At this meeting, we will discuss in detail the options available to you, price, venues and any ideas you may have for your big day.
If you decide to use our service, we will require a 75% deposit as soon as possible with the balance paid three weeks before the wedding day. If you choose "The Hollywood Wedding Film" package, we will arrange dates for filming the necessary parts of the documentary.

2.Visit wedding locations

We will visit the venue of the wedding ceremony and reception (if different) prior to the big day. This is to determine where we can place our cameras and equipment; discuss with the vicar, pastor or registrar if they have any reservations or advice concerning where we can/cannot film from; figure out additional lighting requirements, if any; familiarise ourselves with getting to the venues.

3.Filming

We intend to be as discreet as possible on your big day by using standard digital cameras used in the TV industry for documentaries and reality TV. They are small and compact cameras, which capture images at high resolution.

4.Editing

This is the stage where we utilise all the footage we have shot and transform it into a film you will love to see again and again. We currently use Final Cut Pro which is a digital editing system that allows us to use film effects, unique graphic titles and allows us to make colour corrections. We also use DVD Studio Pro to make interactive DVD's with menus and chapters. We will keep you informed during this process. Your film will be delivered within 6-8 weeks, although we strive to get it ready before this.

5.Delivery

We will either personally deliver your finished wedding film to you or send it by recorded mail delivery if you desire. It will be packaged in our beautiful gift box.
